Silicon Plains' DotSphere Solution Earns More Recognition

Silicon Plains Technologies a leading provider of enterprise content and business management solutions, has been honored as a 2006 Information OnDemand semi-finalist for their workflow accelerator solution, DotSphere.

Silicon Plains will give a demo of DotSphere to the judges during the IOD Expo Grand Opening and Reception. After the demonstration by semi-finalists, the judges will select the winner and two finalists.

In addition to this recognition, Silicon Plains' DotSphere solution was also a finalist for the 2006 IBM Beacon Award- Best Information Management Solution.

Silicon Plains Technologies DotSphere solution is a workflow accelerator that allows you to leverage your mission critical workflow (any IBM workflow engine) and IBM enterprise content management infrastructure more rapidly and affordably. The solution has Preexisting code modules and specific workflow processes for insurance and finance can be easily managed, modified and extended with very minimal programming.

Logicalis and Silicon Plains Announce Strategic Alliance to Help Customers

Logicalis has signed a strategic alliance agreement with IBM Business Partner, Silicon Plains, to provide its customers in the Insurance, Banking and Government sectors with an accelerated approach to greater business agility. This will be achieved through the implementation of Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions.

Logicalis' position in the ICT consolidation and virtualization field and this simplification of IT is a necessary step towards a more agile business. However, for companies to fully exploit their ICT investments, these must be aligned with everyday business processes and people's working practices. Logicalis has already helped many customers to integrate applications and bring together important business data.
